The Fitch Total Basement Finishing Team was lucky enough to be able to attend this years Inspire Convention sponsored by Basement Systems. The convention is a wonderful opportunity to not only further the Team's knowledge about current products and business strategies, but to further our networking while appreciating goals reached by both dealers and individuals. Below shows the Fitch Team attending the Total Basement Finishing General Session class.
The convention has a vast array of classes that range from new basement flooring products, to running your companies appointment center, and even managing your production crews. Our team members were able to tailor their class schedules to their current job positions and what would best set them up for future success. Below, is Chris Schmidt the Production Manager for Total Basement Finishing giving a presentation on new products available to our design teams.
The Appointment Center Track class did a team building exercise, shown below. The idea of the exercise was that the customer (the string) is touched by multiple employees throughout the design process and that each and every contact with that customer is vital to their experience, otherwise the web falls apart.
Furthermore, the convention had several inspirational speakers including John Foley, a former pilot in the Blue Angles, and Michael Eruzione who was the captain for Team USA at the 1980 Olympics that defeated the Soviet Union to go on and win the Gold metal. Each of these men delivered truly inspiring speeches that every individual in the audience could not only connect with but aspire to be their best selves everyday. The Fitch Team cannot wait to use these new tools, practices, and products to enhance the design process experience for each and every one of our customers from start to finish.
